My experiences in choosing a guru

I always think of attending some sessions for practicing yoga. I was literally dreaming to attend some session that could transform my ultimate way of living. It all happened to me through Isha yoga. Isha yoga have its presence in various locations across the world. I had attended the initial stage of yoga in my company through a corporate program conducted by isha volunteers. It was a bind blowing session. The unfortunate thing is that the higher levels of the same can be done in Isha main centre located in a place called Coimbatore located in southern region of tamilnadu. I had opportunity to attend one such session as well and levels of happiness I attained there is literally boundless to express. I have many friends who had practices even higher states of realization with the practices we got from there. It all depends on the level of interest of the person and the belief they have in undergoing such sessions.
Also, beware of the fact that negative people attract other complainers. Because those who live in a world of doom and gloom alienate others, they have no choice but to look for other negative people to associate with. They then feed off one another and get locked in queue of losers. So practicing such things needs ultimate discipline that you have to practice to be rendered to accelerate the reputation of your guru.

Basic understanding of karma – I am sure it will be interesting!

I had found many people misunderstand the meaning of karma in many ways. There are lot of understanding available on this specific word. I here would like to present the most apt meaning which I feel could be applicable to the word that gave me a more convincing idea of what the thing is all about. Karma is basically considered as a everlasting law that is applicable every existence in the world. When any good or bad thing happens we can point out people saying it is all because of karma that the good or adverse activity had took place. Yes, I even accept the fact but if we drill down deep into this it could lead to unnecessary confusions. Karma can be focused as levels of experiences that every existence had undergone in their life. Based on this experience every existence that have sense have the tendency to compare with the present happenings to the happenings that the living being had undergone before. This is the source of all that people say that karma is responsible for all that happen in their life! Please follow a single context with this word to avoid confusions and proper understanding of this would create a better idea of root causes for the ultimate happening in the universe.

Kamasuthra is a legendary gift the world got from India. I get to know that there are lot of instances mentioned about yoga in kamasuthra. yoga helps in improving better understanding of self and surrounding leaving a person more understanding and emphatic about other's need. Yoga helps in improving one's sensitivity. Its breathing exercises help a person overcome his anxiety and participate in sex with a fresh vigor. When a person is relieved from tension and stress, he/she will actively participate in sexual activity. According to Yoga philosophy, sex is a very natural function, extremely necessary in an affectionate relationship and also vital for the persistence of the human race on the earth. A branch of yoga called Kundalini Yoga is specifically concentrated about sex and asana for harnessing the sexual power. Yoga through its various asanas and breathing techniques help one redefine one's sexual life. It is also very necessary in relieving stress and relaxing one's body, preparing one for a healthy sexual life and relationship.

Importance of sleeping postures

It is extremely important that we maintain a proper posture during our sleep. Lot of factors needed to be taken into consideration in determining a proper posture for sleeping. It is always preferred that you have a pillow beneath your foot while sleeping as this helps you to sleep on your back. But people who are experiencing problem with their back bones are not advised to follow this. But people who have a steady backbone can try this position as this gives a relaxing and peaceful sleep.
People are advised to sleep on their side on many instances as this may give them the comfort of being in their willing position. But avoiding awkward postures will definitely help us in avoiding to getting into unwanted troubles. So comfortable enough in the way you sleep but don’t sleep in the way your head facing downward as this posture is more prone to get people to strains and sprains. In yoga the sleeping posture is by itself is a aasana(Yogic posture) and it is called as Savasana. In few yogic practices, it is a custom to end the yogic practices with a Savasana to make a comfortable ending for the whole set of practices.

Glowing appearance - Don't you want to glow?

We come across people in our daily life who strive really hard to look young! We try all kinds of lotions, packs and other possibilities to stay and look young (This doesn’t apply to people who are really young!) Pre mature ageing is really becoming the problem for the hour. People are experiencing diseases at initial stages of life which our ancestors had come across at final stages of life. Even without proper medical facilities available, the longevity of life for our ancestors was much higher compared to our generation. Even though there are multiple factors contributing this, the most negating factor for us is lack of physical work in the modern environment that we live today. It is extremely important that we practice and focus our self to certain practice, mudra, yoga, aasana as these powerful tools brings in lot of energy that we need to carry on our day to day activities and it takes us to newer dimensions of life which many of us could had only imagined of attaining in reality. But the truth is we all facilities with us. All that we need to do is to utilize them in proper way.

Don’t diminish your attitude. Attitude determines altitude!

There are people who think that they have to let their attitude go down in some cases to experience the ultimate effect of meditation and yoga. There is no such need that you have to become submissive to taste the fruit of yoga. Some people have the mentality that being silent and submissive is equivalent to peace. This is in some way related to our concern but we can’t totally agree with this. Being submissive is totally different and if your character was shaped in that way then you may not have problems as you are going to change yourself anything drastically. Be Alert! Alertness is a most important criteria to be considered as only alert and active people can consciously feel the importance of meditation and can reap the ultimate benefits of it.

Cure for psychological disorders

One astonishing possibility of yoga is that it has the capability to cure psychological disorders. This can’t be applied to every cases. Few preliminary cases can be handled up to 100% efficiency. It all depends on the grasping capacity and various other factors. If you know any people of such kind please let your trainer know about the capability and problems that the person have. If he is aware of such possibility, definitely they should be the right person to guide you in the correct way. The preliminary levels of disorders that even many of us may undergo are like stress and related factors, habitual diseases etc. Such kind of diseases can be handled with ultimate efficiency as the person undergoing practice would be alert enough to understand and practice the things thought to them.
